TimelyBill Engages Skoda Minotti in SSAE 16 Type II Examination
SSAE 16 Type II Examination / Certification Project
July 1, 2013
TimelyBill is pleased to announce that it has retained engagement with Skoda Minotti, formerly Assurance Concepts, PLLC, in an SSAE 16 Type II examination/certification project. SSAE 16 Type II audits allow a third party to report on the processes and controls implemented in our company's operations and evaluate their effectiveness. TimelyBill clients, as part of their own governance and control requirements, will gain comfort knowing that those controls and activities are functioning appropriately and to a recognized standard. This will ensure that Bill Perfect client's data assets and related technologies will continue to be handled with the utmost care and security.
According to Michael Lates, CEO of TimelyBill, "Our clients are the most important asset we have, along with our employees. We will go to great lengths to build their confidence in every aspect of our business. Having our processes and procedures audited and accredited by a third party is key to our customer meeting their governance requirements while obtaining our business goals."
TimelyBill chooses to undergo annual SSAE 16 Type II examinations for several reasons:
- Trust and Credibility: A SSAE 16 Type II certification demonstrates our commitment to security, reliability, and controls.
- Risk Mitigation: The examination helps us identify and mitigate risks associated with data security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
- Customer Assurance: SSAE 16 Type II certification assures our customers that we have implemented and tested adequate controls over our systems.
- Internal Process Improvement: The examination process thoroughly reviews our internal processes and controls. This helps improve operational efficiency, security measures, and overall organizational effectiveness.
